Pick Fill Seal Machine is a type of packaging machine that operates in a rotary / linear, step-by-step fashion to pick, fill, and seal preformed pouches.
Empty pouches are typically loaded onto a conveyor or a linear indexing system at the beginning of the machine.
Picking: The machine uses a Vacuum suction and lifting mechanism to pick up one empty pouch from the conveyor and position it in the first station.
Filling: At the filling station, the product to be packaged is dispensed into the pouch through a Auger filler.
Sealing: Once filled, the pouch is moved to the sealing station. Here, the pouch is sealed.
Conveyor Movement: After sealing, the filled and sealed pouch is moved to the out feed conveyor.
The process repeats in a rotary/linear fashion, with pouches moving from one station to the next until they reach the end of the machine's line.
